Adrienne Morton and her 7.5 month old pup, Liam, passed both the Canine Good Citizen - Advanced (CGCA) and Canine Good Citizen - Urban (CGCU) tests today. Liam is totally bombproof! They encountered traffic, construction equipment, loud noises, meeting and greeting people on the sidewalk, other dogs, crossing streets, stoplights, storm drains, cross walks, metal grates, wet grass, asphalt, concrete and that was just the outside portion of the tests! For the indoor portion, Liam demonstrated a down stay with distractions in the lobby of a CPA office building, off center recall in the lobby, walking through a narrow hallway with people passing while pushing a cart and carrying boxes, and waiting politely while paperwork was completed. Liam and Adrienne have set a pretty high mark or standard being the first team to complete the CGCU as part of the Positive K9 LLC Training Center Obedience Training program!
Liam is 2nd youngest Chow to ever have completed CGCU by 6.5 months old. He also completed 10 Service Dog Modules before 1 year of age and is a DAA (Detect, Alert, and Assist trained.
Thank you to Jan Floyd our program trainer for all your dedication to this team
